Sabre® Desktop Tools for Learning truly provide the best of both worlds for training. You remain on site at your agency, so you don’t miss any sales opportunities. And you decide when and how to participate in the training sessions. Day or night, for short time spans or for longer sessions — whatever is most convenient for you. Tools are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, via your personal computer.

With flexibility and choice as its key benefits, the learning tools are comprised of a variety of teaching methods and options, including:

Format Finder^SM Help System — Find the Sabre® global distribution system format you need, when you need it, faster and easier than ever before. A Windows®-based and Internet tool, the Format Finder help system features more than 9,000 Sabre system formats and functions. Includes access availability; build passenger name records; work queues; issue tickets; price trips; and book air, car rentals and hotels. To launch this feature, enter CTRL+H or click on “Tools,” then “Format Finder” in the Sabre system desktop software. You can also download the software and related updates from the Agency eServices Web site. Also available to order on CD.
Personal Trainer^SM — Reduce the learning curve for new agents. Refresh and enhance the skills of experienced travel consultants. Target specific instruction needs of conversion agents. It’s all possible with education software that is both easy to install and simple to use. In just a few keystrokes, you can access more than 160 hours of training via instructional units, practice exercises, certification tests and a format fitness game.

Plus, the software automatically tracks and records your progress. It even has a built-in reporting system. This software is accessible via a Web browser from any workstation. It’s also available on CDs, which you can install on your computer within minutes. Instructions and an enhanced user guide are included, making set up easy.
Virtual Classrooms — With this easy-to-install classroom software, you can interact with other travel professionals online or benefit from a one-on-one “virtual visit”. All this right from your desktop. You can also view previously recorded classroom sessions. Recorded sessions are available anytime. To enroll, scheduled classes are listed in the Agency eServices Web site. Or your Sabre Travel Network trainer can arrange your “virtual visit.”
