Our Format Finder^SM help system is a Windows®- and Internet-based tool that makes it easy to find Sabre® system formats. It includes nearly 5,000 help reference pages and multiple search options. And it’s ideal for both new and experienced agents.

Features

Format Finder places at your fingertips everything you need to know when you need to know it. It assists you with a wide range of functions including:

Something for everyone. For new agents, the feature contains overview sections in the various Sabre system categories. It explains availability, cars, hotels, ticketing and other complicated processes. Agents are guided through the procedures with step-by-step instructions. Pop-up and drop-down displays quickly define a field, or a list of other possible entries to include within the format. The Format Finder help system also contains a link to a five-to-eight minute product demo for a mini-training session.

More experienced agents can bypass the detail and use Format Finder as a reference tool when they occasionally have questions. These agents can go straight to the formats they need without going any further into topic details.

Access

For Sabre Connected^SM agencies, there are several ways to launch the Format Finder help system:

A downloadable Sabre® for Windows® reservations software version is available via the Agency eServices Web site. Simply go to http://eservices.sabre.com. Under the “Support” header select “Format Finder” and click on the “Format Finder for Desktop” link.
An online version is also available via the Agency eServices Web site. Visit http://eservices.sabre.com, select “Support”and click on the “Format Finder Online ” option.
For MySabre users, launch Format Finder from the “Agent Tools” tab, from the Help menu or by pressing CTRL+Z while in the Sabre system screen.
For Sabre for Windows users, launch Format Finder by pressing press CTRL + Z

Technical Requirements

For the online version you will need to have Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher loaded on your system. Additionally, for the Sabre for Windows version, Format Finder requires Sabre for Windows version 4.4 or greater.
