Features

Think of the Sabre® Power Assistant™ as your automated customer service assistant. While running on a server or a dedicated workstation, this exceptional application works on your behalf. It helps alleviate many of the routine tasks associated with completing a transaction or closing a sale. Set the Power Assistant to run any time of the day, up to three times a day, seven days a week. Your workload will be streamlined considerably.

The Power Assistant application provides the opportunity to tailor each search to meet your individual business requirements. This application also uses a modular design to effectively perform each task. Each module runs one task at a time — when one module completes a task, the next one begins. It’s that efficient and easy. The Power Assistant robotic application can help you with the following:

  • Searches for availability to confirm waitlisted segments — This module automatically processes specified segments to efficiently complete repetitive waitlist clearance tasks.
  • Requests desired seat assignments — Provide enhanced customer service to your most important clients by obtaining their desired seat selection. This module gives you the ability to document remarks regarding the carrier’s response if a seat is not available.
  • Conducts searches for low fares — This module uses our Bargain FinderSM Plus feature to search for lower fares and to reduce the number of connections when available. The low-fare search module uses remarks specified by the agent, including preferred carriers, desired airport connections and passenger type. It provides customer satisfaction at the lowest possible price. Power Assistant lets you choose to rebook or just remark the record with the lower fare information.

The Power Assistant tool is downloadable from a secured Web site for Sabre ConnectedSM travel agencies. For secure access available upon purchase, please contact your local Sabre Travel Network account executive.
